Ingredients (Serves as many as you desire)
Whole clams, still in shells
1: Scrub the outsides of the clam shells until they are perfectly clean.
2: Place however many clams will fit in a saucepan and add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan about 1 inch.
3: Allow the pan to heat until the shells of the clams open.
4: Remove the clams from the pan with tongs, and serve them in the the bottom half shell.
5: Provide each person with a small dish of melted butter into which they may dip the clam meat.
